| Tucson is such a wonderful place to live and it's not just for the weather.
| | The wildlife here in Tucson is spectacular and thankfully still abundant. I feel so lucky that I get to see gorgeous wildlife almost everyday. Check out these stunning photos which were taken in my subdivision. I had to share because the pictures are so amazing. Courtesy of my neighbor - Brian Johnson.

| Visiting Open Houses - Tips | | With so many online tools available to help you search for homes nowadays, you can browse listings in your sweatpants, while eating pizza and watching movies. But, when the time comes to step away from the screen and visit a home in-person, there are a few tips.
Pre-Visit Prep Open houses offer a unique opportunity to explore potential homes. They are typically open to the public, allowing you to visit without an agent. However, if you want me to come along reach out to me. Me being there can be beneficial to you.
Start by researching the property and neighborhood beforehand. This preparation enables you to ask informed questions and shows your interest in the property.
On the day of the open house, arrive during the scheduled hours, but if possible 30 mins after the start or before it is over. This way the agent has time to set up the home and is not rushing you out if they need to leave. At the Open House
- Sign-In: It's okay to fill out the sign-in sheet and make sure you tell the agent you are working with me. This gesture is both a courtesy to the agent and a safety measure for the homeowners.
- Respect the Space: Treat the property with care, but you are welcome to open doors to closets and cabinets. This way you get to see everything while you are there. Please supervise any children with you and ask for them to keep hands to themselves.
- Photo Policy: Ask the open house agent for permission before taking any photos or videos inside the property to respect the homeowners' privacy. Most likely it will be allowed.
- Parking Etiquette: Park thoughtfully without blocking driveways or taking up residents' spots. It’s a small gesture that shows big respect for the neighborhood.
- Keep Feedback Tactful: Save discussions about the property's pros and cons for a private conversation with me, rather than having them during the open house. Especially is you love the home!
Post-Visit Courtesy As you leave, don't forget to say goodbye to the hosting agent. This way they will know you have left the home. This simple act of courtesy can leave a lasting positive impression, especially if you are interested in purchasing the home.
If you love any home you see, be sure to call me right away so I can do some research on the property and if interested right an offer on it. You don't want to sell and you missed your opportunelty.
Happy house hunting and referrals are always appreciated. Have a wonderful day! Diane |
